Janice Fern Reynolds Law, 85, returned to heaven, after complications from a hemorrhagic stroke, on December 30, 2020 while in Coral Desert Rehab with her eternal companion by her side.
Janice was born to Francis Marion Reynolds and Ruth Reynolds on January 25, 1935 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was raised in Idaho Falls, then Ontario, California with her two older sisters until her parents moved them to St. George, Utah. Janice attended St George Elementary, Woodward Junior High and graduated from Dixie High School in 1953. Janice and Jerry were married on June 2, 1953 in the St George Temple and raised their children in Murray, Utah until they were drawn back to St George once again. Janice worked at JC Penney, Gibsons, Sun Capital Bank and then became a business owner of Creative Stitch.
Janice had a beautiful singing voice and loved music. She grew beautiful flower and vegetable gardens. She was a beautiful seamstress and created many clothes, wedding, prom, and pageant dresses for her daughters and granddaughters that they cherished. She loved to quilt, crochet and knit and made many baby quilts, blankets and booties to give to new mothers including family, friends and those in need. Janice had a special smile, she loved serving others including her family. She loved learning art with a special group of friends, including her dear sister-in-law, Denise Bastian. She loved her family (each grandchild was her favorite) and she participated in genealogy and family history.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Marion (Eldon) Crowley and Dena (Rex) Sylvester; daughter, Aileen Law(20); Grandsons, Stephen and Justin Law(infant twins) and Anton Allen Kuhlmann(41), and three infant great grandchildren.
Janice is survived by her beloved husband, her daughters and son, Susanne (Pete) Kuhlmann, Jeff Law, and Teresa (Dan) Brooks, 12 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held January 5, 2021 at 1pm in the St George City Cemetery for family and close friends. Janice and the family would like to thank those who have given support and help to our family.
