Jerry Edwin Buys, 59 years old, passed on January 25, 2016 in St. George, Utah. He was born October 21, 1956 in Payson, Utah to Jerry and Erma Buys. He married Cindy Farr Buys on June 11, 1977 in the Provo LDS Temple.
He is survived by his wife: Cindy Buys; son Jason Buys and Sunny Highley of St. George; daughter Candice De Vivo and Johnny De Vivo of Pacific Grove, CA; son Nathan Buys and Naomi Buys of St. George; son Brett Buys of Saint George; son Derek Buys of Saint George; grandchildren; Kolby Foster, Giavanna De Vivo, Isabel Buys, and Charly Buys.
Our loving husband, father, son, grandfather, and brother will be missed. He was a compassionate and considerate soul to everyone he met. His family was his absolute joy and pride in this world. As he was theirs, they are proud to have been blessed by such a devoted man.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bloomington Hills Second Ward located 750 E Fort Pierce Drive, St. George, Utah 84790. Visitation prior to funeral services will be from 9:30-10:45 a.m. at the same location. Interment will be Tonaquint Cemetery.
