Joan Miller

Joan Louise Miller, 84, passed away at home with her husband Ray by her side on November 29, 2018 in St. George, Utah.  She was born September 24, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan to Robert L. and Doris O. Staley.  She married Raymond C. Miller on July 12,1952 in Highland Park, Michigan.

Raymond and Joan resided in Clawson, Michigan until 1994 when they moved to St George, Utah.

Joan was primarily a stay at home mother but at various times she worked as a secretary or clerical work.

Joan enjoyed drawing, oil painting, reading, travel, Pinochle, family activities and athletic endeavors.

She is preceded in death by her parents Robert L. and Doris O. Staley and her brother Allan R. Staley.

She is survived by her husband Raymond C. Miller of St. George, Utah, her sons Kerry S. Miller (Cynthia) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Robert J. Miller of Desert Hot Springs, California, and Donald R. Miller (Cheryl) of Simi Valley, California, her daughter Janet L. Pittl, of Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada, 10 grandchildren,10 great-grandchildren, her brother Robert L. Staley, Jr. (Jeanne) of Highland, and her sister Ann R. Faulmann (Leland) of Indio, California.
