Jonathan Hill Strong, age 89, died February 3, 2011 in Saint George, UT.
He was born in Bountiful, UT on September 5, 1921 to Peter and Millie Mae Hill Strong.
He served in the Army during WWII from 1941 to 1945.
Jonathan is survived by his wife, Betty, his children Karen (Jerry) Ith, Judy (Raymond) LeVitre and Rodney John Strong. He also considered Betty's children as his own; Susan (David) Tanner, Sherry (Barry) Newbold, Rick (Linda) Bodell and Christine (Mark) Huffaker. He has 21 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by brothers Bill and Dern Strong and sister Elma Houghton.
a��There will be a viewing on Monday, February 7, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Mall Dr. Branch Chapel, 259 Mall Dr., St. George, UT. On Wednesday, February 9, 2011, a viewing will also be held from 11:00 to 12:30 am at the Glenmore 8 th Ward, 4200 W. Skye Dr., South Jordan, UT. Interment with military honors will be at the Sandy City Cemetery.
