June Eilene Cutler Heath was called home on June 21, 2023 at the age of 96. She was preceded in death by many loving family members, including Russ, her husband of 77 years. These people shaped her life, creating a legacy of love and compassion that she passed on to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
June and Russ lived a full and beautiful life. They raised three sons: Steve, Greg, and Scott. They were blessed with and loved their amazing daughters-in-law: Jackie, Julie, and Betty Jo. They were grandparents to 12 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
June was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She had a strong testimony that she shared often and always, through words and example, with her children and grandchildren. She never turned down a church-calling or ignored an opportunity to help people in need.
June was a hard-working woman whose passion and determination is unmatched. She taught the values of family, service, compassion and education to her children, enabling them to lead full and successful lives and pass down those same values to their children.
June excelled in everything she did. She earned her degree from the University of Utah and worked full-time as a registered nurse. She was extremely talented and artistic. She showed her creativity through her painting and drawing. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. She was an amazing cook. When she was alone or with family, we were blessed to witness her sing and dance while cooking and cleaning.
June was defined by her beautiful red hair, her friendships, her wit, her keen sense of humor, and her love and compassion for all those around her.
June was dearly loved by her family and friends. We are sad, but grateful for all she shared with and taught us. She will continue to live within each of us. We know that she is happy, and we look forward to when we will all be together again.
We love you mom, grandma, and friend!
