Keith Clove Workman Jr, 64, passed away Saturday June 2, 2012, after battling Progressive Supranuclear Palsy for the past 5 years. He was surrounded by his wife and son at his home in Cedar City.
He was born September 27, 1947, in Cedar City to Keith Clove Workman Sr. and Rose Marie Hepworth Workman. He married his lifelong sweetheart Denise Cason, on July 6, 1968. They were later sealed in the St. George Temple.
Keith was born and raised in Cedar City. He attended the public school system, graduating from Cedar High School in 1965. He worked many jobs over the years, most notably for his service at the US Post office for 38 years. The only activities he was passionate about were sports. From playing as a child and adult, to coaching and officiating on all levels. He was well known in So. Utah as a high school football and softball official for many years.
He was active in his church duties and calling throughout his life.
He is survived by his wife Denise and son Brian (Julie), of Cedar City, sisters Eva Jones and Catherine Workman of St George, UT, and Geri Savage(Paul) of Cedar City. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 1 great grand son.
He is preceded in death by a daughter Nanci Lynne.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday June 6, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Cedar Stake Center, 155 E. 400 So. Viewing will be Tuesday June 5th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, and prior to the service from 12:00 to 2:00, at the Cedar Stake Center.
Interment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery .
