Kendall Wayne Gardner, age 62, passed away unexpectedly on October 22, 2018. Kendall was born in St. George, UT on December 16, 1955 to Melvin Hyrum and Belva Sue Hunting Gardner. He was the 2nd of 8 siblings.
Kendall grew up in Beryl, UT and graduated from Enterprise High School. After high school he earned an automotive certificate from SUSC. He later graduated from the police academy on December 4, 2001.
He married his High School sweetheart Annette Bracken on June 20, 1975 in the Manti LDS Temple. Together they raised 4 children Mindy (Thomas) McCoy, Kendall Jed (Karisti) Gardner, Shannon (Jared) Blad, Sara (Terron) Hunt and 13 grandchildren.
He is survived by his siblings Dale (Amber) Gardner, Gary (Stacy) Gardner, Jeff (Christy) Gardner, Penne (Wendell) Robinson, Jana (Scott) Carter, DeeAnna (Jeff) Barlow and his Mother Belva Sue Hunting Gardner.
He was preceded in death by his father Melvin Hyrum Gardner and his sister Julie Ann Gardner.
Kendall spent his life serving others, both professionally and religiously. He had a quiet demeanor, but had a big presence wherever he went. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and held many callings that blessed the lives of those around him. He served his community in Law Enforcement for over 30 years in various capacities. He also enjoyed working and growing his own business, Marble Mountain, by providing landscape rock and gravel for over 20 years.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Enterprise Stake Center with a viewing prior from 9:00-10:30 am. There will also be a viewing held on Friday, October 26, 2018 from 6:00-7:30 pm at the same location. Interment will be held at the Enterprise City Cemetery.
