Kerry Lynn Herring, age 59, died March 9, 2021. Born June 18, 1961 in Sevier, UT to Alice Dawn Sattley (deceased) and Clayton Garth Herring (deceased). Previous marriage to Marceen Louis Mecham (deceased) in 1986, that ended in divorce and friendship. Married Barbara Sue Morrison Stewart on Nov. 18, 1994. They later divorced, but continued as life partners and best friends. Kerry was raised in Elsinore, UT and grew up loving nature, especially Kimberly Mountain.

He was an amazing chef and enjoyed all outdoor adventures. He had a playful nature with an infectious sense of humor. He was an avid chess player and loved playing pool.

He is survived by his life partner Barbara Herring, his sister, Robin Herring McAvoy (Robert) of Elsinore, UT, brothers Clayton Kimberly Herring (Jodi) of Magna, UT and Steven Sattley (Lorna) of Las Vegas, NV, and sister by marriage Catherine Barrad of Mansfield, MO, 2 brothers from a later marriage John and Curtis Herring; Children Christy Falkner (Jan) of Grand Junction, CO, Eddie Falkner of Gran Junction, CO, Shari Mecham, Kyle Ian Stewart of Enoch, UT, Carly Marie Romer (Tyler Palmer) of Washington, UT, and Michelle Alyse Fox (Jonny) of Washington, UT; Grandchildren Lukas, Sydnee, Jimmy, Damion, Mariah, Alex, Mikayla, Dakota, Autumn, Hunter, Carter, Reagan, Andon, Bella, Aria, Harlee, Ally, Lexi, Lizzy, Tyler, Ember, April, and Austin; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A gathering will be held on March 20, 2021 at 1:00pm with family and close friends, after which, a celebration of life potluck will begin at 2:00pm at the McAvoy located at 55 E 100 S Elsinore, UT 84724
