Lantz LeVoy Hansen, 49, passed away surrounded by his family on October 24, 2021. He was born on November 4, 1971 to LeVoy and Kathy Hansen in Ogden, Utah.
Lantz was a diligent member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Years after serving a mission in Fortaleza, Brazil, he met the love of his life, Angela Hansen. They were married on May 11, 2007, and then sealed for time and all eternity in the Logan Temple in June 2008.
Lantz had a love of all things outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, camping, fisihing and spending time in the mountains with his greatest pride and joy, his 4 boys. He was an amazing photographer that loved capturing the beautiful natural landscapes. Lantz loved to travel. One of the highlights of his life was fulfilling a lifelong dream of hunting in Africa with his hero, his dad. He also got to take the love of his life on her bucket list trip of seeing the tulips in Amsterdam.
He is survived in death by his wife Angela Hansen, his 4 sons, Jace Hansen, Dane (Maddy) Hansen, Kade Hansen, Gage Hansen. His father LeVoy Hansen and sister Tarahne Hansen. He is proceeded in death by his mother Kathy Hansen.
A viewing will be held on Thursday October 28, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hurricane 25th Ward Building 642 North 2850 West, Hurricane, UT 84737.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday October 30, 2021 from 11:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. at the Pleasant View 8th Ward Building 250 West Elberta Dr., Pleasant View, UT 84414. There will be a viewing held prior to the funeral from 9:30 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. Interment will be held at Myers Evergreen Memorial Park, under the direction of McMillan Mortuary 435-688-8880.
