Larry Howard Blair passed away November 15, 2021 in St. George, Utah with Relenda, his wife of 17 yrs by his side. He was born May 23, 1948 in Long Beach, California to Matthew and Dorothy Kurtz Blair. Larry pursued education with an AA Degree from Fullerton College and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
In his early adult years, Larry raced stock cars at Lions Drag Strip-Wilmington, CA and Orange County International Speedway in Irvine, CA
Larry worked 45 years in the Aeronautical industry at Rockwell, Lear Jet and as an Electrical Engineer in Avionics for Boeing where he spent many years working on the Space Shuttle Program. He retired once the program flew its last flight in 2011.
He and his wife, Relenda moved to St George, UT in 2015 and immediately began volunteering at the Western Sky Aviation Warbird museum where he restored airplanes for static display and worked as a docent giving tours.
Larry also enjoyed playing softball both with the City of St George program and the Huntsman World Senior Games.
Larry is survived by his wife, Relenda, son Brian, step-daughter Rebecca and step-son Corey (Lisbeth, Samantha, Mark and Karina), sister Barbara, niece Jennifer and brother Rob.
He will be interred in the Tonaquint Cemetery, St. George, Utah
