Larry Russell Jaussi

Larry Russell Jaussi 85, entered into his eternal peace on Wednesday June 5th 2024.

Larry was born November 2nd, 1938, to John and Estella Sheppard Jaussi. He was the youngest of nine children. He graduated from Fielding high school in Paris, Idaho class of 1957. After high school he attended Ricks College on a basketball scholarship for one year after which he served a two-and-a-half-year mission to Austria, Switzerland, and Germany. After his mission he attended Utah State University. He was sealed in the temple to Karen Kay Thompson in 1963 and raised six children. He worked at Morton Thiokol for 3 years, he then moved to Des Moines, Iowa and worked at Dilly MFG in the marketing department for a few years afterwards returning to Utah, where he started his own business. He continued to work in sales and marketing throughout his life. He was sealed in the temple to his high school sweetheart Mary Ann Stock in 2004 who preceded him in death in 2018.

Larry had a love of sports and was a beloved football coach throughout his life coaching little league through high school ages. He coached little league with two of his sons and it was always a proud memory for him talk about. He has always been active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints holding numerous positions within the church. He enjoyed teaching gospel doctrine for many years. He enjoyed fishing, talking sports, and living life to the fullest. He also enjoyed playing the piano, guitar and singing with his family, memories we will always cherish 

Larry was proceeded in death by his loving parents, brothers: John William, Roland Luther, Clifford Nathanial, Junior Layton, sisters: Revola, Aurelia, Melba, former Wife Karen Thompson, daughter Bonnie Ray Klabenesh, and his beloved wife Mary Ann Clark.

He is survived by, his sons David and Russell Jaussi, daughters Eraina (Scott) Wilson, Christina (Shane) Wright, Jennifer (Chad) Davis and many grandchildren. A viewing will be held Thursday June 13th at Sky Mountain Chapel located at 452 N 2600 W Hurricane, UT 84737 at 5-7:00pm. The Graveside services will be held Friday June 14^th, 2024 at the Paris Idaho city cemetery at 1:30pm.
