Laurie Vee Stoker Parker

March 12, 1960 — March 17, 2024

Toquerville, Utah

Laurie Parker, 64, died in her home surrounded by her loved ones on March 17, 2024. She had battled cancer for 8 years and is now finally at peace. She was born on March 12, 1960 in Ogden, UT to Vera and Dee Stoker. Laurie Stoker married Drew Parker on May 16, 1981 and had five children, Tyler (died at birth), Katie, Kendl, Cole and Molly.

Laurie was raised with three sisters Dalone, Joanie & Shari in Syracuse, UT. She loved to celebrate birthdays and holidays with her sisters and their families. She started a tradition of Valentine’s tea party’s and loved going on sister trips.

Laurie was a great wife and mother to her family. Drew and Laurie went on many adventures together and with their kids. There are many stories of crazy trips Drew would plan and she would go on, uncertain of how well thought out it was. It was customary for her to make him give her all the details before she would agree to go and she would sit and make a list and think it out. Lake Powell was her favorite place to visit. Many memories were made camping, boating or just sitting on the porch talking. She was a good cook, gardener, water and snow skier, prankster, adventurer and teacher. She grew gardens and flowers that we all enjoyed growing up. Laurie loved animals and would take care of them like they were her kids. She took treats to all the animals on her mail route.

Laurie is survived by her husband: Drew Parker; children: Katie and Tyler Bingham, Kendl and Jordan Watt, Cole and Jessica Parker and Molly Parker; grandchildren: Taitem, Paycee, Greenlee, Harper, Pyper, Veyda, J.T., Jackson, Oliver, sisters: Dalone Orozco, and Shari King. She was preceded in death by her parents: Dee and Vera Stoker, sister: Joanie Stoker, and son: Tyler Drew Parker.
