Linda Louise Corum

Linda Louise Parkinson Corum, 76, passed away August 25, 2024 in St. George, Utah. Linda was born on June 19, 1947 in Los Angeles, CA to Paul Bernard Parkinson and Darlene Hendrickson Parkinson. She was married to James Lyle Godown from 1969-1995. She married Larry Corum on Feb 10, 2001. 

Linda was raised in southern California. She attended Roosevelt Elementary School in San Gabriel, Valle Lindo School in El Monte, Mountain View School in El Monte and Rosemead High School in El Monte. She enjoyed traveling, reading, crocheting, music, spending time with the grandkids and family history. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Darlene Parkinson, and her second husband Larry Corum.

She is survived by her brother, Dennis (Eileen) Parkinson, her four children, Traci (Craig) Proffitt of Alhambra CA, Jimmy (Christy) Godown of Hurricane UT, Scott (Natalie) Godown of Washington UT, Paul (Camie) Godown of Washington UT and 16 grandchildren. She was also blessed with three step children, Jeff Corum, Cindy (Shawn) Rasmussen, Dave (Cleo) Corum, and 9+ grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Sun River 1st Ward LDS chapel 4461 S Country Club Dr. Saint George, UT 84790.
