Linda Kay Rice

Linda Kay Rice, 82 passed away on July 29, 2024 at her home in Hurricane, Utah. She was born February 6, 1942 in Salt Lake City to Violet Louise Waltemeyer and William Raymond Nielsen. She married Joseph Rice on April 30, 1988 at Snowbird, Utah.

Linda enjoyed making people laugh with her quick wit. She would offer help whether you needed it or not. Her grandchildren loved spending summer days at the beach making drip castles and hunting sand dollars with her, Her biggest joy was being with family.

Linda is survived by her husband Joseph Rice, daughter Jill Griggs, son Eddie Monahan, brother Donald Nielsen, sisters Susan Thomas and Nancy Young, nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. 

There will be no Funeral services. Her only request is to be remembered while you listen to Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon",
