Loraine Chamberlain

LoRaine Jones Chamberlain better known as L.C., age 82 of St. George, Utah passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones, on August 9, 2015.

He was born on October 29, 1932 in Cedar City, Utah to Edgar Cram Chamberlain and Norine Jones. He was the oldest of four children. Other siblings include: Scott (Karene), Larry, Dyanne Pollock (Gary).

He married his High School sweetheart, Lila June Stapley on  June 15, 1951 in the St. George LDS Temple. Lila passed away after 48 wonderful years together on August 27, 1999.  After seven lonely years he met and fell in love with Corene Miller McLeod.  They were married on Feb 14, 2006.

L.C. loved his family and their family reunions. He loved everything about the outdoors especially the mountains!

He was a mechanic and worked on the county roads, and loved working with the guys. He liked to keep busy!

L.C. served in many Church callings but his favorite was Second Counselor in the Branch Presidency of the Indian Branch in Cedar City, Utah.

L.C. is survived by his wife Corene Miller McLeod, Daughters, Penny Albrecht (Richard), Debra Christensen (Stephen), Wendy Rufi (Nathan), Cathy Jimenez (Jerry), Kim Topalian (Fred), and Jodi Wood (Reagan). Stepsons, Rodney, Craig (Dana), Corey (Sandy), Kevin (Diane).

He was proceeded in death by his brother, Larry, his parents, his wife Lila, and three grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at the Riverside Branch, 2434 East Riverside Dr., St. George, Utah.  A viewing will be held from 9:30 - 10:45 prior to the service. Interment will be at the Washington City Cemetery.
