She’s been with me throughout my life, been with me as I’ve grown.

She’s guided me the best she can, she’s taught me like no other,
and I’m thankful I’m the lucky one who gets to call her... MOTHER.”

On December 7, 2020 Marie Zusana “Zusy” Villicana Uribe-Lucio, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, returned to our heavenly father, and has reunited with the love of her life.

Zusy was born on October 25, 1966 in Salinas, CA to Justino and Maria Uribe. She was raised in the small agricultural city of Soledad, CA. along with two younger brothers. Her grandparents Papa Lulo and Mama Ramona whom she dearly adored, played a very important part in her childhood for she would often vacation with them to their beautiful hometown of San Diego De Alejandria in Jalisco, Mexico. She loved to accompany her grandpa to check on his ranches and farm animals, and loved when he would put her on his horse, for those where some of her best childhood memories. After graduating highschool and completing some college, Zusy began her early career as an administrative assistant for a chiropractor in Salinas, CA. where she met the love of her life, Mario. On January 27, 1991 she married Mario Villicana in La Parroquia de La Inmaculada Concepcion in San Diego De Alejandria, Jalisco, Mexico. They raised a daughter, Crystal and two sons, Mario Jr. and Jesus. She was a very loving, compassionate, caring, patient, and hardworking mother. She always made sure to spend good quality time with her children.

After working in chiropractic offices for years, Zusy moved on to work in admissions for the emergency room in Natividad Hospital. Thereafter she worked as an executive assistant for a politician in the County of Monterey where she later found her calling in Real Estate. After working for the Monterey County Association of Realtors and also as an office manager for many Realtors, she subsequently became a Realtor, loan officer, and notary public. She was in the Real Estate industry for over ten years throughout Central and Northern California. In 2005, following a successful career in Real Estate, she moved to Beaver, UT with her family where she opened her own business and helped with the establishment of a Catholic Church. In 2008 her and her husband purchased their first home in Cedar City, UT where they resided for about 10 years. Due to health reasons they relocated to Hurricane, UT.

Zusy had a huge heart. She was very caring, funny, charming, charismatic,outgoing, friendly,passionate, humble, classy, forgiving, loyal, intelligent, and overall a very beautiful woman. She was a woman of faith till the end.She had many talents, hobbies, and interests. She learned to cook and crochet at the young age of 5. She was an excellent cook, especially because she made her food with a lot of love. She crocheted the most beautiful baby afghans, table cloths, shirts, shawls, and many other items. She loved flowers and enjoyed gardening with her husband very much.One of her latest hobbies she enjoyed with her daughter was to share and sell Color Street products. She was very passionate about her Color Street, it brought so much joy to her, and it also introduced her to many new amazing friends. She loved spending time with her family and going on trips/adventures with them. She was very proud of her children and proud of herself for doing such a good job raising them. She adored her grandbabies so much, to her they were the most precious blessings in her life and the motor that kept her going. Zusy had a heart of gold. She was loved and known for her caring, compassionate, and giving soul. She loved with all her heart and always gave without ever expecting anything in return. She truly was one of the sweetest individuals you could ever meet. An amazing mother, grandmother, wife, and friend.

Zusy was preceded in death by her husband, Mario. She is survived by her daughter Crystal, sons Mario Jr. and Jesus, her grandchildren Ramon and Noel, her brothers Eddie and Justino, her niece Alexis, her nephew Joseph, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 14, 2020, her Rosary, Visitation, and Mass will all take place at the St. George Catholic Church 259 W. 200 N.St. George, UT 84770. Her rosary/visitation will be from 9:30am -11:30am followed by her mass. Her burial will take place after mass at the Hurricane City Cemetery 225 E. 600 N. Hurricane, UT 84737. Flowers may be sent to McMillan Mortuary 499 E. Tabernacle St. St. George, UT 84770.

El 7 de diciembre de 2020 Marie Zusana “Zusy” Villicana Uribe-Lucio, amada madre, abuela, hermana, tía y amiga, regresó a nuestro padre celestial y se ha reencontrado con el amor de su vida.

Zusy nació el 25 de octubre de 1966 en Salinas, CA hijo de Justino y Maria Uribe. Creció en la pequeña ciudad agrícola de Soledad, CA. junto con dos hermanos menores. Sus abuelos Papa Lulo y Mama Ramona, a quienes adoraba mucho, jugaron un papel muy importante en su infancia, ya que ella solía ir de vacaciones con ellos a su hermosa ciudad natal de San Diego De Alejandria en Jalisco, México. El 27 de enero de 1991 se casó con Mario Villicana en La Parroquia de La Inmaculada Concepción en San Diego De Alejandria, Jalisco, México. Criaron una hija, Crystal y dos hijos, Mario Jr. y Jesús. Fue una madre muy amorosa, compasiva, cariñosa, paciente y trabajadora. Siempre se aseguraba de pasar un buen rato con sus hijos.

Después de trabajar en consultorios quiroprácticos durante años, Zusy pasó a trabajar en admisiones para la sala de emergencias del Hospital Natividad. A partir de entonces, trabajó como asistente ejecutiva de un político en el condado de Monterey, donde más tarde encontró su vocación en bienes raíces. Después de trabajar para la Asociación de Agentes de Bienes Raíces del Condado de Monterey y también como gerente de oficina para muchos Agentes de Bienes Raíces, posteriormente se convirtió en Agente de Bienes Raíces, oficial de préstamos y notaria pública. Estuvo en la industria de bienes raíces durante más de diez años en todo el centro y norte de California. En 2005, después de una exitosa carrera en el sector inmobiliario, se mudó a Beaver, UT con su familia, donde abrió su propio negocio y ayudó con el establecimiento de una Iglesia Católica. En 2008, ella y su esposo compraron su primera casa en Cedar City, UT, donde residieron durante unos 10 años. Por razones de salud, se trasladaron a Hurricane, UT.

Zusy tenía un corazón enorme. Era muy cariñosa, divertida, encantadora, carismática, extrovertida, amigable, apasionada, humilde, elegante, indulgente, leal, inteligente y, en general, una mujer muy hermosa. Fue una mujer de fe hasta el final, tenía muchos talentos, pasatiempos e intereses. Aprendió a cocinar y hacer crochet a la temprana edad de 5 años. Era una excelente cocinera, sobre todo porque hacía su comida con mucho amor. Hizo crochet los más hermosos afganos para bebés, manteles, camisas, chales y muchos otros artículos. Le encantaban las flores y disfrutaba mucho de la jardinería con su esposo. Uno de sus últimos pasatiempos que disfrutaba con su hija era compartir y vender productos de Color Street. Ella era muy apasionada por su Color Street, le trajo mucha alegría y también le presentó a muchos nuevos amigos increíbles. Le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia y hacer viajes / aventuras con ellos. Estaba muy orgullosa de sus hijos y de sí misma por hacer un buen trabajo criándolos. Adoraba tanto a sus nietos que para ella eran las bendiciones más preciosas de su vida y el motor que la mantenía en marcha. Zusy tenía un corazón de oro. Ella era amada y conocida por su alma cariñosa, compasiva y generosa. Amaba con todo su corazón y siempre daba sin esperar nada a cambio. Realmente fue una de las personas más dulces que puedas conocer. Una madre, abuela, esposa y amiga increíbles.

Zusy fue precedida en la muerte por su esposo, Mario. Le sobreviven su hija Crystal, sus hijos Mario Jr. y Jesús, sus nietos Ramón y Noel, sus hermanos Eddie y Justino, su sobrina Alexis, su sobrino Joseph y muchas tías, tíos, primos, sobrinas, sobrinos y muchos amigos. .

Los servicios fúnebres se llevarán a cabo el lunes 14 de diciembre de 2020, su Rosario, Visitación y Misa se llevarán a cabo en la Iglesia Católica St. George 259 W.200 N.St. George, UT 84770. Su rosario / visitación será de 9:30 am a 11:30 am seguido de su misa. Su entierro tendrá lugar después de la misa en el cementerio de Hurricane City 225 E. 600 N. Hurricane, UT 84737.
