Marilyn LaVerne McDermott passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2014 in St. George, Utah. She was born August 21, 1936 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
She was a Loving Mother and was a Devoted Wife of Jim McDermott of McDermott Cue Company. After retiring, they lived in Las Vegas, Nevada and later settled in St. George, Utah.
She was preceded in death by her brother Kenneth Doege.
She is survived by her husband Jim McDermott, her son Jesse (Diane) McDermott, and her daughter Phyllis McDermott, both of Milwaukee, WI. She has 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 from 1:00-3:00pm at the Sun River Community Center Ballroom located at 4275 S. Country Club Drive, St. George, Utah.
Interment will be at the Graceland Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to your favorite charity in Marilyn’s name.
