Marlene Knudsen Bryan, 84, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2023, in Hurricane, Utah. She was born on October 24, 1938, in Tremonton, Utah, to Clifford E Knudsen, and Violet Gardner Knudsen. She lost her mother at the age of eight and was raised in Deweyville by her grandmother Myrtle Knudsen and her father. Marlene graduated from Bear River High School in Garland.
Marlene spent her adult years in Ogden, Honeyville, and finally in Hurricane, Utah. She retired from Hill Air Force Base after working there for 31 years. She loved her home and enjoyed decorating it. She loved playing cards and occasionally taking short trips to Nevada to play her favorite slot machines.
Marlene is survived by her sister Maralyn (Gary) McCurdy of Pacifica, California, and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Caralyn Knudsen, and her parents.
She spent the final months of her life living at Beehive Homes in Hurricane where she was treated with love and respect, and gained a new family there.
It was Marlene‘s wish to not have a funeral service. She will be cremated and later interred in the Deweyville, Utah Cemetery.
