Marsha Lee Blatz, 69, passed away May 19, 2016 in the comfort of heroes home. She was born December 16, 1946 in Tucson, AZ to George and Dorothy Pickard. She grew up in Phoenix, and lived in various locations around the country until settling in St. George, UT in 1982. Throughout life her professions included but not limited to; homemaker, cosmetologist, activity coordinator for the elderly, and residential sanitation specialist. Always a devoted Christian, she kept a close relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She loved animals, especially her role as the crazy cat lady. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, as well as her quiet time, playing word games, reading and watching investigative TV. Saguaro cactus, sunsets, and the mountains and hills around Southern Utah were some of life's simple pleasures that never grew old to her. She is survived by her son Eric Blatz and daughter-in-law Amanda Blatz of Coolidge, AZ. 4 grandchildren Megan, Vivian, Malachi, and McKenzie. Niece Jennifer Rhyan Williams, her children, Christopher, Nick, Heather and son Levon Jr. Nephew Michael Rhyan. Lifelong friends Rhonda and Carol also share in this loss. Celebration of Life will be held Monday, May 23rd at Tonaquint Park. 1851 S. Dixie Dr., North Pavillion from 6-9 pm.
