Marva Brown

Marva Joan Sawyer Brown (MARVELOUS) Born August 6, 1932 in Rock Springs, Wyoming to David F. and Bessie Butler Sawyer passed away January 4, 2015. She died of causes incident to age at her home in St. George, Utah surrounded by her loving family and her husband at her side. She was married to Glen Jerry Brown September 2, 1949 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, four children Doug (Kathy) Brown, Debbie (Ray) Draper, Sherry (Spencer) Young, and Greg (Louise) Brown. She has 27 grandchildren, 82 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great-grandchildren. Her legacy is a wonderful family and years of service in the LDS Church on all Children’s, Women's and Young Women's organizations. A viewing will be held Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 5-7pm at the Sunset 1st Ward LDS Chapel, located at 100 N. Dixie Drive, St. George, Utah. Funeral services will be held in Ogden, Utah, Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 12:00 noon at the LDS Ward Building located at 5191 Old Post Road, Ogden, Utah. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch 1718 Combe Road South Ogden, Utah.
