Mary Magdalene Lupeulufa Tavita, born on August 29, 1991, in LBJ Fagaalu Hospital, American Samoa, passed away on January 17, 2025, in St. George, Utah. She was a radiant soul whose presence brought warmth and laughter to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Maggie lived a life with love and compassion. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, a testament of her dedication and hard work. Known for her unconditional love, she was fiercely protective of her family and friends. Her open-mindedness and great sense of humor made her a beloved figure in the lives of those around her.
Her interests were simple yet profound; she found joy in reading, immersing herself in the worlds crafted by words, allowing her imagination to soar. Maggie's laughter and genuine kindness will sorely missed, forever etched in the hearts of her loved ones.
Maggie is survived by her devoted parents, Filipo and Faailoa Tavita; her siblings, Bruce, Gayle, Karen, Charlene, David, Filipo Jr., Theresa, Tapai, and Joseph Tavita; and her beloved daughter, Maggie Faailoa Tavita. Each of them carries a piece of her spirit, honoring her memory with every cherished moment spent together.
The family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Maggie's life. A funeral service to honor her will be held at 11:00am at the Manzanita Rd. LDS chapel, located at 3519 Manzanita Rd., St. George, Utah 84790. Prior to the services there will be a family service at the same location that will begin at 9:00-10:30am. The interment will be in the Washington City Cemetery, Washington, Utah 84780, following the funeral services.
