Mary Ann Smith, age 78, passed away on April 24, 2015 in St. George, Utah. She was born March 24, 1937 in Glen Ridge, Essex, New Jersey to Anthony F. Barresse and Lucy Fastiggi. Mary Ann married Norman E. Smith on August 26, 1978 in Niwot, Boulder, Colorado. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on July 27, 2001. Mary Ann grew up in New Jersey, where she graduated from Verona High and worked in the banking business for many years. She also lived in Colorado and Florida, as well as St. George, Utah. Her joy in life was service to others and her family.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband Norman, her brother Andrew Barresse of Union, NJ., two daughters, Lynn Tamura of St. George, Deborah Niven of Kaysville, UT. and two stepsons, Kirk R. Smith of Hollywood, FL., Perry W. Smith of Boulder, CO., eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the LDS Chapel, 2583 East 350 North, St. George, UT.
