Maxine Terry

TOGETHER AGAIN

Maxine Nielsen Terry passed away on December 21, 2011 in St George Utah. She was born in Riverton Utah on July 25, 1926 to Niels Jensen Nielsen and Evelyn Walker Nielsen. She was the 9 ^th of 12 children.

She Married Harvey Allen Terry on Dec. 20, 1946 in Draper, UT. Their marriage was sealed for all time and eternity in the Los Angeles Temple on May 7, 1983. Harvey passed away on May 7 ^th , 1982.

Maxine was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She had a great love for the church and served in many Ward & Stake Callings throughout her life. In her senior years she served 2 church missions (Little Cotton Wood Canyon Records Vault and the Salt Lake City Church Offices as a Member Locator.) She also served as a greeter at the St. George Utah Temple for several years.

She is survived by her children: Samuel D. Terry (Judy) of St George Utah, Sherie Torres of Sandy Utah, Karen McDonald (Doug) of Redmond Washington & Allen N. Terry (Beverly) of Washington Utah, Sister Margene Pixton (Howard) of Alpine Utah, 14 Grandchildren and 34 Great Grandchildren with great grandchild #35 due any day.

She was preceded in death by her loving Husband Harvey, Her Parents Niels & Evelyn Nielsen, Brother Lawrence Nielsen, Sister Evelyn Meisenholder, Brother Douglas Nielsen, Brother Kenneth Nielsen, Brother Russell Nielsen, Sister Norma Evans, Sister Florence Osborne, Brother Calvin Nielsen, Brother J Howard Nielsen & Sister Carma Cutler.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, December 26, 2011, at 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Washington Fields 9 ^th Ward Chapel, 115 West 2000 South, Washington, UT.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Draper 12th Ward Chapel, 600 East 12300 South, Draper, UT. Visitations will be held from 9:30 am to 10:45 am prior to the services. Interment will follow at the Draper Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of McMillan Mortuary 435-688
