Michael Gau Jr.

Michael Edward Gau, 85 , passed away on August 17th 2016 in Ivins,Utah.
He was born 09/23/1931 in Portsmith Iowa to Michael Gau Sr and Alma Kjer. He married Betty A. Gau on December 18th 1955. They enjoyed 60 years together.
Michael sent most of his life in California, Arizona and Utah. He served his country honorably in the Navy and later was a commander at the VFW. Michael went to computer school and worked in data processing. He enjoyed sports and was part of the ASU booster club for many years. He also enjoyed camping, traveling, reading and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Betty Gau, son James Gau, mother of grandchildren Sheryl Gau, grandchildren James and Rachel Gau, Alyssa and Erik Thurman, Krysta and Norman Fajardo, Aaron and Christina Gau, Brett and Sonoka Gau and Jonathan Gau. Also 5 great grand children. He is greatly loved and will be missed.
A memorial will be held in Utah for family.
