Morgan Russell Slaugh

March 24, 1940 — January 25, 2025

Saint George, Utah

Morgan Russell Slaugh, age 84, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025, in St. George, Utah. Morgan held many titles throughout his life: son, brother, husband, author, hard worker, and cherished community member, but above all, he was a devoted dad. He found joy in spending time outdoors, seeking adventure on his four-wheeler, and sharing stories while working alongside his beloved children-Megan Zeeman, Russell Slaugh, Jill Lantz, and Christopher Gale Slaugh.

A passionate historian, Morgan cherished WWI history and had a fondness for westerns. He took pride in putting up flag poles, fixing tractors, and was an avid supporter of the Utah Jazz and BYU sports.

His legacy lives on through his loving wife, Judith Slaugh; four children; six granddaughters; three great-granddaughters; and five stepchildren, Joan, Janet, Dain, Jordan, and Brad (who predeceased him), along with their 16 children. Morgan's spirit and dedication to family and community will be deeply missed.
