Morris Hansen, 87, passed away February 21, 2015 in Saint George, Utah. Morris was born January 18, 1928 in Santaquin, Utah to Winford and Melba Greenhalgh Hansen. Morris married Janet Bonham June 25, 1954 in Spanish Fork, Utah.
Morris graduated from Tintic High School, he attended Utah Technical College gaining an education as a machinist. Morris had a successful career as a machinist working for a variety of businesses before starting his own business. Morris and Janet lived in Utah County before relocating to Washington County in 1990.
He is survived by his wife Janet Bonham Hansen; children Lynn (Tammy) Hansen, John (Yvonne) Hansen, Deneen Wood, Garth (Kelly) Hansen, Shauna (David) Morgan, and FayAnn (Greg) Comer; 24 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren; Sisters Marilyn (Ralph) Phillips, Barbara Mills, and Irene (Rodney) Larsen. He was proceeded in death by his sister Helen and his brother George.
Graveside Services will be held on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 11:30 am at the St. George City Cemetery.Viewings will be held Thursday, February 26th, from 6-7 pm at the Cotton Mill LDS Chapel, 1080 W. Arlington Dr., and Friday from 10-11 am, also at the church.
