Norman M Hale, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother died on September 17, 2011 at his home in Toquerville, Utah of heart failure. Norman was born on May 17, 1930 in Pocatello, Idaho and lived to be 81 yrs. old. He is best known for his compassion and willingness to help others, his strong testimony of the LDS faith, his love of gadgets and his ability to fix anything.

Norman went on an LDS mission to Texas/Louisiana in 1951-53; and served a senior mission with his wife to Winter Quarters, Nebraska in 1996-97. He served 4 years in the Air Force during the Korean War.

He is survived by his loving wife, Marba Peck Hale; his eight children; Mark Hale, Brent Hale, Laura Downer, Warren Hale, Spencer Hale, Stirling Hale, Ilene Reher, and Sheryl Pryor; his thirty-three grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 24, 2011, at 2:00 p.m., at the Toquerville Chapel. A viewing will be Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. both at the Toquerville Chapel. Interment will be in the Toquerville City Cemetery.
