Patrick (Paddy) Stack Jr.

After a long and hard-fought battle with leukemia, Patrick “Paddy”  Joseph Stack Jr. is rejoicing in the presence of the Lord as of Monday October 10, 2022. He was born on September 18, 1958, to Patrick Joseph Stack Sr. and Margaret Shine Stack in Croom, Co. Limerick, Ireland.

Paddy and family immigrated from Ireland to Utah after selecting St. George as the destination after seeing photos of Zion National Park in a golf magazine. Paddy worked tirelessly through the years as a pharmacist providing care to long term care facilities throughout southern Utah. He was well known in the healthcare community as “Paddy from the pharmacy.” He loved his family and Irish rugby, but the defining moment and true joy in his life came when he trusted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at 42 years of age. He accepted God’s gift of eternal life through Christ’s atoning death on the cross and loved to share that gift with others.

He is survived by his wife Gill Stack, children Jenny (Joey) Listul, Vicky Stack, and Peter (Victoria) Stack, and siblings Michael (Eileen) Stack, Connor Stack, and June (Philip) O’Sullivan.

Funeral service will take place Wednesday October 19, 2022, at Westside Baptist Church with visitation at 10 am and service beginning at 11 am. Interment will be in the Tonaquint Cemetery.
