Ralph Bailey

December 16, 1933 — October 7, 2015

Ralph J. Bailey passed away October 7,. 2015, peacefully in his sleep at the Ivins Veteran’s Care Center. He was born December 16, 1933 to Charles Spence and Inez Andersen Bailey. He was raised in Garfield and Magna then lived many years in Kaysville.

He married Mary Wardle and they had three children, R.J., Todd and Gene Bailey. He later married Maxine Marshall in the Salt Lake Temple becoming the father to Kim and Dan E. Horton. He loved his children and cherished his 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

He retired from Kennecott Copper and then worked at Foss Lewis Gravel. He is a distinguished Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean War. He faithfully served in the LDS Church, especially as a Home Teacher.

He is survived by his wife Maxine; his children Kim (Bob) Cahoon, R.J. Bailey, Dan E. (Holly) Horton, Todd (Jeanette) Bailey, Gene (Shirley) Bailey, the grandchildren and two brothers Mick and Lynn Bailey.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters; Grace, Jane, Donna, Vivian, Sharon and his brothers Boyd and Lamont

Funeral services will be held Saturday October 10, 2015 at the LDS Church on 452 N. 2600 W. Hurricane, Utah. Viewing 9:30-10:45am. Funeral11:00am.

A Graveside service will be held Monday October 12, 2015 1:00 pm at the Kaysville City Cemetery. 500 E. Crestwood Road Kaysville, Utah.
