June 19, 1936 - May 19, 2014
Ralph Daniel Moses passed away May 19, 2014, with his boots on. Ralph was born June 19, 1936, son of Lilly Viola Christensen and Alfred Glen Moses.
Ralph came from a family of eight children: Ila, Norma, Howard, Hazel and Joyce (all deceased) and Myrna (Ed Crockett) and Lucille Strasser. Married Patsy Ann Hansen (Marshall) and had three sons Michael Glen, David Scott and Robert David (deceased). Later married Marilyn H. Reich and added three more sons Todd Douglas, Cory Allen and Bret William Reich.
Ralph loved baseball and spent most of his life and energy working for the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 537 and 711. He worked hard to improve the pension, health and welfare benefits of hundreds of union members. After retirement, Ralph spent his winters in sunny St. George, Utah, but his heaven on earth and place of peace was the cabin in Pine Meadows, Utah, where he spent his summers. His 27 grandchildren loved spending time at the cabin with Grandma and Grandpa Moses. Ralph spent many summer days and nights hauling rocks, mixing cement, and pouring his heart and soul into the cabin and mountain he so dearly loved.
Ralph was a devoted and dedicated son, brother, husband, father, and grandpa. Special thanks to Dixie Hospice, family, friends and neighbors for the kind and loving care. Ralph will be sorely missed…go rest high on that mountain top!
