Marthella Rochelle Clawson, 66, of St. George, Utah, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2014. Rochelle was born in Susanville, CA, on March 6, 1948, to the late Ferrill Burr and Martha Santens.

She graduated from Susanville High School and later attended cosmetology school. She married Donald Clawson in the Oakland, CA, temple on October 26, 1968. Rochelle was always full of life, love and happiness. She somehow always made time to be with her children and grandchildren everyday. As a health enthusiast, Rochelle focused on healthy eating and stayed fit with yoga, zumba and spin classes. Rochelle was an active and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints. She loved doing temple work regularly as well as serving in many auxiliaries of the church. She was a passionate teacher of the gospel through her example and her words. Her legacy will forever live on through the countless lives she touched.

Rochelle is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Don Clawson, and their 12 children: Angie, and her spouse, Corey; Troy, and his spouse, Shannon; Candice, and her spouse, Josh; Jared, and his spouse, Tracey; Shelleen, and her spouse, Chadd; April, and her spouse, Robert; Melodee, and her spouse, Jason; Todd, and his spouse, Camilla; Linzie; Chad, and his spouse, Brandi; Dallan, and his spouse, Jordi; and Deric, as well as 38 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 12, at 2 pm. There will be a public viewing from 12 to 1:30 pm, prior to services. Services will be held at the LDS Sunset Stake Center on 82 N Dixie Dr, St. George, UT.
