Rohn Losser

d. July 10, 2012

Born February 28, 1953, Rohn Losser, 59, beloved husband, father, brother and friend passed away July 10, 2012. He fought a good fight but in the end cancer won the battle, he has gone to be with Jesus where he will have no more pain or sorrow.

Rohn was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, he attended Granite High School and was on the wrestling and tennis teams. He relocated to St. George, Utah in 1984. Rohn loved the outdoors and he enjoyed running, hiking, backpacking and mountain biking in his later years. He worked odd jobs and went to school earning an Assoc. degree in Accounting but he was drawn to concrete work. He was an excellent concrete finisher and eventually owned his own concrete business, Losser Concrete, Inc., from 1992 to 2004. After more than 30 plus years of concrete he grew tired and sold that business and purchased Southern Utah Blinds. He loved being an entrepreneur and operated both businesses with integrity; the customer was always his top priority and he spent much time making sure that his work was beyond satisfactory. In 2010 with the downturn in the economy he went to work at Jones Paint & Glass in their window covering department. But his most important accomplishments were that he followed Christ and helped raise three amazing kids.

He leaves behind (for now) his wife of 32 years, Laurel; his kids, Luke and Grace Losser, Whitny and Brian Hart and Sidney. His brother, Bob (Vivian) Losser; his sisters, Jeanne (Francis) Hawkins, Linda Cole, and Shelley (John) Horel. He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Dorothy Losser.

Many thanks to Rayan; Dr. Rupard and Courtney; Wound Clinic; Drs. Griffin and Speakman; Kris Brown; St. George Community Healing Arts and all who prayed so faithfully for us all.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Washington City Nisson Park 251 W. Telegraph St. Washington, UT on Saturday July 14, 2012 at 9 a.m.
