Ronald Goble

Ronald M. Goble, 83, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021. At home after a short battle with cancer. He was born October 30, 1937. In Nephi, Utah, son of Elwin & Jewell (Hansen) Goble.

He married Shirley Ann (Johnson) who preceded him in death. They had three children Sally (who died after birth) Tonya (Chuck) Anderson and Ronald (Sue) Goble Jr.He married Larraine Thomas-Kopinski in 2004. They had 22 wonderful years together.Ron graduated from Juab High School and immediately joined the Air Force where he spent the next 10 years, 3 of which were in Japan. Upon his honorable discharge from the Air Force he worked at Dugway Proving Grounds until his retirement. Ron loved golf, playing slots, cheering for the Jazz, the Utes (football) and the Seahawks.

Ron is survived by his wife, daughter and step sons (Jeff (Leissa) and Kevin (Lisa), 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Brother Larry (Rosemary) Goble, Sister Carolyn Olson.

He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife, daughter (Sally) stepson (Rick) brothers Brent and Mike.

At Ron’s request there will be no service.
