Rosemary Martha Garibay

Rosie was born on December 25, 1949 to Alberto, and Clothilde Orosco. She was given the name Rosemary Martha Orosco but everyone knew her a "Rosie". Rosie was the baby of 6 children. She had 3 brothers, Benjamin, Jose, and Albert "Junie" and 2 sisters Lupe and Jenny.

As a young child Rosie lived in central California as her family worked the fields. When she was about 4 years old her family migrated south and settled in Chino, California. For most of her life she called Chino her hometown.

Rosie married Johnny Garibay and had 3 children Terry, John John and Richard. They were blessed with 3 grandchildren Vincent, Alex and Selena. 

In 1991 Rosie and Johnny moved to Modesto, California. There she worked as a caregiver while living the country life on the dairy farm. Rosie enjoyed cooking for her family. Everything she made was delicious. She loved being around her family, always laughing and cracking jokes. She was so fun to be around. Upon retirement they moved to St. George, Utah where she lived until her passing on December 3, 2024. 

Rosie is preceded in death by her son Richard, her parents and her 3 brothers.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, December 20, 2024 at 1:00pm. The location info will be posted in a few days.
