Ross Cisneros Jr.

Ross J. Cisneros Jr. passed away on 17 March 2017 after a short but heroic battle with cancer. Ross was born in Dearborn, Michigan on June 3, 1936, the only child of Rosario J. Cisneros and Myrtle Velma Payne. He was married to Norma Rae Alcorn for 59 years, who preceded him in death in 2015. Together they had five children, Ross’s son, Jeffrey Cisneros, preceded him in 2006. He has four surviving children: Heidi Schaefer (Steven), Dana Spohn (Michael), Robin Johnson (Erik), Kenneth Cisneros (Liz), 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his second wife, Loretta Taylor Alcorn, and her five children: Christine Nazaroff, Cynthia Knittel (1953-2012), David Alcorn, Julie White and Leigh Skorheim.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 11:00am at the Sunset First Ward LDS Chapel located on 82 N. Dixie Drive, St. George, Utah 84770. A viewing to be prior to services starting at 9:45am. Interment will be at Tonaquint Cemetery.
