Russell Heath

Our husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend Russell George Heath passed away on the morning of March 26, 2014.

Russ demonstrated his love and his testimony of the gospel through loving service to his family, friends and others in need. He met challenges with courage, determination and resolve. We know he is now happily engaged as he continues his service in the next phase of his life.

Russ is survived by his wife of 67 years June, three sons, three daughters-in-law, twelve grandchildren, and twenty-seven great grandchildren. He and June are blessed with an amazing group of friends who provide love and compassionate support.

Russ served faithfully and embraced his many church callings. He served as a counselor in the bishopric, High Priest Group Leader and many others. He was a faithful Home Teacher. He and June served a mission to Nigeria in West Africa and Calgary Canada.

Russ loved his country and served proudly as a corpsman in the US Navy in World War II.

We are grateful he now is free from the physical challenges he endured over the past few months. We miss him tremendously and look forward to a glorious reunion.

Funeral Services will be Monday, March 31, 2014 at 11:00am at the Morningside LDS Chapel located at 930 Morningside Drive, St. George, Utah. A Viewing will be from 9:30 to 10:45am prior to services. Interment will be at Tonaquint Cemetery.
