Sallie Moses

St. George, UT - Sallie Jane Arnold Moses, 86, started her new journey on May 3, 2017. Sallie was born June 28, 1930 in Hiawatha, Utah to Joseph Arnold and Dora Leamaster Arnold. She married H.C. Moses on November 27, 1952.

Sallie was raised in Huntington, Utah and graduated from North Emery High School in 1947. She moved to Salt Lake City just after graduation where she met H.C. Moses. They married and moved to Los Angeles where she raised her family and worked in office administration. She moved to St George, Utah in 2006.

Sallie loved being a grandmother and family was her focus. She was a small-town girl with a big-city heart who enjoyed culture and performance art. She loved beautiful clothes and high heels. Sallie was a breast cancer survivor and volunteered at the American Cancer Society for many years. Some of her other volunteer work included: Mi Casa for abused women, MADD and Daughters of Utah Pioneers.

Sallie is survived by her children: Greg (Dianna) Moses and Robin (Casey) McLaughlin; step-children: Gene (Diana) Moses, Frankie (Laura) Moses and Linda Otto; 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, sister Lana Jo Barrett, and a handful of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, parents, her brothers Bill Arnold and Stan Arnold, and grandson Gerrad.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Bella Terra and Zion's Way Home Health and Hospice of St. George, Utah for their care and love.

Graveside services will be held Monday, May 15, 2017 at 1:00pm at Lakeview Memorial Estates located at 1640 East Lakeview Drive, Bountiful, Utah.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your favorite charity.
