Sandie had a wide variety of ways to create happiness in her fulfilling life, but foremost was enjoying the relationships she had with the people whom she loved. She cared for her husband, children and grandchildren with selfless love. Her diverse interests included being a world-class prankster; exploring any new thing with Robert or her children; being a beach bum in Southern California; playing board games and puzzles; any challenging word games; reading and studying; having political and spiritual conversations; music; crocheting; temple work; and having a good conversation with a good friend.
She also found some happiness in disliking a few things. She did not like sports because she was terrible at them; she didn't like bathroom fans because they irritated her ears; she didn't like ticking clocks because they reminded her that time was short; and she didn't like excessive heat or humidity, math, cats, spicy food, rap music, and onions (in all forms of preparation).
She was a natural leader and very successful businesswoman. Most recently, she ran her privately contracted marketing consultant firm. She retired just a few months ago in order to spend more time with Robert and her grandchildren.
Sandie meant many things to many people. To her immediate family she was a visionary, an optimist, cheerleader, professional, homemaker, advisor, motivator, caretaker, source of wisdom and counsel, and best friend.
Most of all, Sandie Dickman is a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ and a devoted and loving eternal companion to Robert. She always looked forward to Robert's companionship; she was always twitter pated to see him; and she loved the quiet and strong comfort he provided her. She is a strong, kind, honest, principled, wise, and unconditionally loving mother to her children. She is a loving sister and devoted friend to her five siblings. She is a relentless seeker of spiritual & physical progression, a wise counselor, and an appreciator of beauty in all things. She will be missed by many, and we can't wait to see her again.
