Sandra (Sandy) Barton

Sandra (Sandy) Leigh Hutchison Barton, 70, of Washington, Utah, passed away on 14 August 2021 surround by her family. She was born to parents Clarence Eugene Hutchison and Doris Jennell Ray Hutchison, on 13 August 1951 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Sandra (Sandy) met Kenneth H. Barton in 1965 when she moved to Greenville. They were married on July 26, 1968 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ken was the love of Sandy’s life and they spent just short of 40 years together in wedded bliss.  Together they raised 4 children: Kenneth Eugene Barton (deceased), Kimberlee Joann Barton - Nuttall, Jody Lynn Barton, Kristen Dawn Barton Bratt.

She returned to Beaver High School and graduated on May 24, 1985.  She went on to study Nursing at Southern Utah State College.  Sandy did not finish due to a career ending injury that left her disabled.

She enjoyed playing bingo with her family and friends.  Some of the best memories were trips to Mesquite and daubing Ken’s head with a bingo dauber while he slept in the car.  Sandy never got over losing Ken.  We are so very sad to have her leave this world but know that she is out of pain and happy with Ken, Kenny, her mom and dad and Randy.  Sandy was known for her ability to cook and seemed happiest when she had her family all around and cooking a big dinner for everyone.

Sandra (Sandy) is survived by:  Eugenia Jennell Hutchison, sister, Brenda Gayle Hutchison(Randy), sister in law, Kimberlee Joann Barton-Nuttall (Brian),  daughter, Jody Lynn Barton, son,  Kristen Dawn Bratt, daughter, Oceanna Briezz Barton, granddaughter, Kaye Jennell Barton (Kasey), granddaughter,  Kenneth Cord Barton (Shaelie), grandson, Chase Allen Bosshardt (Natalia), grandson, Kattelyn Dawn Bratt, granddaughter, Karrlei Danyl Bratt, granddaughter, Jacob Michael Barton, great grandson, Trexton Allen Barton, great grandson, Kenneth Cord Barton Jr., great grandson,  Brody Rhae Barton, great grandson, Jax Alan Clements, great grandson, Leighla Maylynn Sheavelle Jones, great granddaughter, Brixton Ken-Dale Shelby Jones, great grandson, Remington Allen Bosshardt, great grandson and she will be making our Hendrix John Bosshardt perfect for his arrival on this earth in November. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews and many family friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Clarence Eugene Hutchison, her mother Doris Jennell Hutchison, her husband Kenneth H. Barton, her brother Randy Gene Hutchison, and her son Kenneth Eugene Barton.

Sandy chose to be cremated and buried in the Greenville Cemetery next to Ken.  Her graveside services will occur at a later date when her family can all be together.
