Sara "Sally" Lou Crouch, 86, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on the first day of Spring, Tuesday, March 20, surrounded by her family.
Sara was born in Casper, WY, Nov. 16, 1925, to Albert Boyer and Paulowenia Heavin Boyer . She graduated from Natrona County High School in 1943. She married the love of her life and soul mate Roy C. Crouch on August 22, 1947 in Casper, WY. Sara was a long time member of the First Baptist Church in Casper where she was actively involved in many church activities. While raising her 3 children, Sara volunteered with the school district and later worked as the insurance billing manager at Wyoming Medical Center for 10 years.
Sara and Roy retired to St. George, UT in 1987. She volunteered at the Intermountain Regional Hospital in the insurance billing department for several years. Sara was an active member of St. George Community Church until her death.
Sara was fondly known as "Sally" to the people who knew her. To have known her was to truly love her. She was the definition of class, beauty & grace. Her incredible lifelong dedication to caring was exemplified through her positive attitude, gentle spirit & quiet authority. She was a collector of inspirational poems and quotes which was reflected in her daily living.
Survived by her husband, Roy, their 3 children John, Cinda, and Paul, her sister, Virginia Bornholtz, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild .
The memorial service will be held Sunday, March 25, 2012, at 12:30pm at the St. George Community Church, 95 South 800 East St. George, UT.
The family would like to thank Intermountain Dixie Regional Medical Center for their kind and excellent care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice at Intermountain Homecare, 1424 E. Foremaster Drive, Suite 130, St. George, UT 84790.
