Scott Smith

Scott W. Smith 1982-2014 Scott , our son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2014. Scott fought hard but lost his battle with the challenges of this life. He returned home to his loving and graceful Heavenly Father, who will now heal his heart. Scotty, you are now free. Scott was young at heart but deep in soul. He was a free thinker, tender, compassionate, witty and thoughtful. Scott is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He attended the University of Utah. He was passionate about rollerblading and mastered it growing up. He was kind to animals and loved his dog Bridgy. He was a movie buff, enjoying late nights with Grandma Dorothy watching old movies. He also loved the long talks he had with his dad on the back porch. Scott adored his mother, who walked by his side, unconditionally loving and believing in him. She was his hero. He is survived by his parents, Lofton and Sandy Smith, his 5 siblings: Brooke, Heather, Missy, Brandi, and Jak. His aunts, Sherry Minor and Cathy Almond, and many nieces and nephews who will miss lego time with their Uncle Scottie. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 3, 2014 at 12:00 noon at the Bountiful Mueller Park LDS Chapel located at 1320 E. 1975 S., Bountiful, Utah. A viewing will be one hour prior to services. Interment will be at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
