Stephen Blake Esauk

STEPHEN BLAKE ESAUK, Eighty Seven years young, One of the Greatest Man/Father Ever, has returned to the loving arms of our Heavenly Father, Sunday morning March 9, 2025 at his home in Washington Utah. 

Dad was born July 5, 1937 to Steven Edward Esauk and Rhea Hope Hadden in Roosevelt, Utah. Dad is survived by his younger sister Ecce Leavitt of Peoria, AZ, daughter Michelle Esauk Longtine of Las Vegas, NV and four grandchildren, three great grandchildren oldest son Stephen Blake Esauk Jr. of Noxon, Montana, youngest Brandon Lyle Esauk of Washington, UT and grandson Alec Lyle Esauk. 

Dad grew up on a ranch near Duchesne, Utah he loved being competitive, learning to work hard on the ranch. Dad took that mentality to everything he did, from running track in high school, to joining a band playing the SAX for what I understand as an outlandish bunch of musicians (Reynolds Gang)from Roosevelt UT, that eventually became family as Dad chased after Mom and just happened to join the family band. Dad was able to marry the love of his life, our Mother Carol VaLoy Esauk in Dec 1958 (I think mom & dad are going to be pissed at me not knowing the exact date) anyways they got married and were eventually were married and sealed in the St. George Temple. 

Dad was extremely ambitious and a very successful entrepreneur, having owned several businesses including several Gulf gas stations, tire shops, storage facilities and of course his main accomplishment was opening and operating the largest Boat shop in the state of Nevada at the time it was opened. Dad also was a very accomplished boat racer and salesman winning multiple awards and being one of the best boat owners in the country. He was also a very spiritual leader and loved the church as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ he served many positions and always enjoyed being with the youth’s of the church and all the many basketball players life’s that he touched. Dad loved his family, church, and friends. Dad was also a very accomplished artist. Dad you will be greatly missed, you are an exceptional man and a great father. Dad did not want a funeral, so honoring his wishes, services will be held Graveside 11:00 am March 14, 2025 at the Roosevelt City Cemetery 33 W. Highway 40 Roosevelt,UT 84066.
