Suzan Dewitt

Suzan passed away from cancer on Monday January 12, 2015 at the age of 72 in Las Vegas, NV. She was born on September 12, 1942 to Ramond Chessar deWitt and Thayle Cripps deWitt (Smith) in Bellflower, California.

Suzan is survived by her brothers and sisters; Raymond Cripps deWitt (Sheila) of St George, UT, Dawn Lynn Dumond (Jim) of Rocky Comfort, MO, Danne Paul deWitt of Hurricane, UT, Mitchael Lane deWitt (Reyna) of St George, UT, and Devary Thayle Howe of Las Vegas, NV., plus many nephews and nieces.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday January 27, 2015 at 11:00am at the LDS Sunset 6 Chapel, 750 N. 1000 W, St George, UT. Graveside Dedication will be at the City of St. George Cemetery directly after services. Suzan Services will be held concurrently with her Mother's (Ida) Thayle Cripps Smith.

She lived in Anaheim, California most of her life until moving to St George to care for her Mother 2005. Suzan worked as a medical transcriptionist most of her life. Since moving to St George she had worked as a Realtor and did some transcription at home.

She was a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. She did many hours indexing for the church and she loved studying the gospel. She also enjoyed taking some writing and radio broadcasting courses at Dixie College. Besides her cat Sophie her passions were music and horses.
