Theodore "Ted" Farrell Funk
Ted was born August 27, 1929 in Sterling, Utah to Alfred Farrell Funk and Leah Evalinda Mickleson Funk. He had six sisters and three brothers. He passed to the other side after a long illness, July 22, 2010 in his home with his wife holding his hand.
He is survived by his wife, Ann, sons Jim and Jerry, daughter Colleen Mackey and a step daughter Jody Decker, 9grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
Ted was a gentle, loving person who was always ready to help anyone who needed help. He enjoyed his occupation as a truck driver. He drove 5 million miles without an accident. He had his pilots license and loved flying small planes. His hobbies were family outings, camping hunting, riding ATV's and fixing things. He was called the "fixit" guy to some.
He will be missed by all who knew him and he will be especially missed by his family who loves him.
A Celebration of his life will be held in the Cultural Hall at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 700 E. Telegraph St. Washington, UT, Saturday July 31, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Humanitarian Fund, Washington 6 th Branch in his name at above address, or a charity of your choice.
