Tim Erekson

Our dearly beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend Tim Meredith Erekson was called home to our Father in Heaven July 18, 2019

Tim was born to Alma Owen Erekson & St. Claire Geneva Meredith on April 29, 1949.  He graduated from American Fork High School and later served an LDS mission in California.  He was one of the hardest working missionaries and an amazing example of faith which allowed him to be the top baptizing missionary. He served his country honorably in the United States Army and retained his title as the only “undefeated arm wrestler” in this platoon.

Tim then married the love of his life Jill Christensen Erekson on November 28, 1975.  They were later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on August 8, 1979 for time and all eternity.  They were blessed with four children whom he loved and nurtured unconditionally being a patient and proud father.

He then followed in his father's footsteps as a successful award winning mink rancher and part of the Fur Breeder Association.  Later, he became an accomplished realtor.

Survived by his children Tammy Breen (Jon), Tim Jeremy “T.J.” Erekson (Caren), William Ryan Erekson (Summer); grandchildren Bailee, Zack, Kanyon, Brooklyn, Cora, Van, Ayda, Lyza, Jordyn, Kaydence, Kabrie, and Kaylia; and sister Penny.

Preceded in death by his wife Jill, his father Alma, his mother St. Claire, his son Justin, his brother John, and sister Marie.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 26, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Highland 3rd Ward Chapel located at 5848 W. 11000 N., Highland, Utah  84003.  A viewing will be held prior to services from 9:30-10:45am at the same location.  Interment will be at the American Fork City Cemetery.
