Timothy Bennett Jr, 48, was born December 5, 1975 in Murray Utah to Timothy and Patricia Bennett. He married Amanda Jane Jaques on September 17, 1994 in Murray Utah, they were married for 28 years and had 3 Children Brittany, Savanna, and TJ.

Tim was born and raised in Taylorsville, UT, he attended Christ Lutheran School and Taylorsville High School. He worked and lived in the Salt Lake area until he joined the United States Army in 2003, where he served 2 tours in Iraq. In 2007 he sustained serious injuries during his 2nd tour and returned home where he was medically retired. After his retirement the family stayed in the Harper Texas area where Tim spent a lot of hours with friends and hunting. He returned to Utah in 2016 so they could be closer to family. This allowed him the time to enjoy fishing at Lake Powell, camping, and riding his motorcycle. Tim did a bit of traveling, he was able to go to South Africa, Mexico and Sturgis as well as many family vacations.

He is survived by his children Brittany Money (Tyler) LaVerkin, UT, Savanna Bennett, Washington, UT; Timothy Bennett III, Hurricane, UT;  Amanda Bennett, Hurricane, UT; parents Timothy and Patricia Bennett Sandy, UT; brother Robert Bennett, Sandy, UT; nieces Brooke, Bailey & Autumn, and too many other nieces and nephews to list. He was preceded in death by sister-in-law Bobbie Bennett, grandparents Harvey and Loretta Marty, and Dale and Teresa Bennett, cousins Tammy & Josh Whiting, Uncle Gary Whiting, and Aunt Pat Bennett.

There will be a private celebration of life at a later date. 

The family Tim leaves behind is passionate about helping their communities and is and has been involved in several organizations.
