Timothy Riddle

Timothy James Riddle, 66, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 in St. George, UT with his wife and children by his side.

Tim was born on September 10, 1955 in Topeka, KS to James Leroy Riddle and Regina Theresa (Hurla) Riddle. Together 40 years, he married Christine Louise (Stafford) Riddle on May 26, 1989.

Tim attended Sacred Heart grade school and graduated from Highland Park High School in 1973. Tim started his lineman apprenticeship in 1983. While finishing the program, Tim received the Outstanding Apprentice award before becoming a Journeyman Power Lineman. He worked for KP&L/West Star Energy in Leavenworth, KS until 2002. Following his adventurous spirit, passion for travel, and his career, he became a traveling lineman, eventually settling in Carson City, NV in 2005. He retired in 2017.

Tim was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, and a friend to everyone he met.

He is survived by his wife Christine Riddle, Carson City, NV; children, Tawnya (Briant) Dodds, Topeka, KS, Troy (Dani) Riddle, St. George, UT; grandchildren, Elizabeth Watson, Topeka, KS, Gavyn and Brandyn Riddle, St. George, UT; sisters, Jeanette Bullock, Topeka, KS, Marilyn Riddle, Topeka, KS, Martha Riddle, Topeka, KS; brother Max Riddle, Henderson, NV; and many nieces and nephews who loved him. He is preceded in death by his father, mother, and sister, Regina "Gina" Riddle Cote.

A celebration of life will be held on September 10, 2022 at 5:00pm at Lake Shawnee Shelter House #6 in Topeka, KS. Donations may be made in Tim’s remembrance to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network at pancan.org
