Tory Von Jones, age 17, died Aug. 4, 2011 at Quail Creek Reservoir, Utah.
He was born October 25, 1993, in Salt Lake City, UT, son of Tyran V. Jones and Tammy Foster Jones.
Tory’s smile and hugs were contagious. He hugged everyone even if they didn’t want to be hugged. He had a passion for basketball. He had a desire to go on an LDS Mission and to go to college.
He is survived by his Father, Ty; Mother, Tammy; Sister, Trish; Brother, Tyler; Step Dad, Jim Rowan; and Grandparents; Von & Betty Jones; Steve & Linda Foster.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Red Cliffs 7th Deaf Branch, 1155 N. 1400 W., St. George, UT. Friends may visit from 9:30-10:30 prior to services at the church. Interment will take place on Friday, August 12, at 11:00 a.m. in Lake Hills Cemetery, 10055 S. State St., Sandy, UT.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mountain America Credit Union, under the name of Tory Von Jones Memorial Trust.
