Tyler Luke Talbot, age 46, beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend, unexpectedly passed away on January 8, 2025 in Chula-Vista, California.
He was born July 10, 1978, in Kanab, Utah, the fifth child of L.Daryl and Claudia Talbot.
He lived in Fredonia, Arizona until he was five, then his family moved to LaVerkin, Utah. There he began school and finished at Hurricane High School while serving on the exec counsel as publicity, earning a Sterling Scholar in foreign language and graduating with honors.
Tyler began college at Dixie State College after high school. He worked at Westate Theaters also. Two years later he moved to Salt Lake City to attend the University of Utah and worked for Morris Travel. From 2000 to 2002 he served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Nebraska.
He then returned to the U and worked at Olive Garden. In 2003 he went to California at the University of LaVern College of Law and completed his career path. From 2008 until his death, Tyler worked for the CCPOA (California Correctional Peace Officers Association) at Rancho Cucamonga and Ontario.
Tyler loved music–all kinds. His playlists contained hundreds of songs from various bands and singers. He enjoyed karaoke with friends and family. He loved the mountains and the beach. He loved his family very much and liked playing games and being with them anywhere. Whenever anyone would take a trip to Disneyland, etc., he made a point to go and share with them. He was a true friend to many and a respected attorney.
He is survived by his parents, L.Daryl and Claudia Talbot, his siblings Matthew(Wendy) Talbot, Mark Talbot, Kerra (Jeremy) Werner, Gina Gaskell, Monica (Tyler) Runia and Andrew Talbot and 24 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 17, 2025 at the LDS chapel at 249 North Mall Drive, St. George, Utah at 10:00am. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral services between 9:00-9:45am. Following the services the interment will be at the Toquerville Cemetery, Toquerville, Utah.
