Vaughn Byrne Pendleton passed away peacefully at home on March 7, 2021. He was born October 12, 1920 in Peterson, Morgan County, Utah.
Parents: Lawrence Patten Pendleton and Annie Byrne. Married Fay G. Roberts Apr 2, 1941 (Deceased); Carol G Taylor Sep 27,1974 (Deceased); Barbara Pulley Feb 12,1994.
Survived by wife Barbara; Children LeAnn Pendleton (Jerry) Stimson, Tucson, AZ; Robin Vaughnette Pendleton, West Valley City, UT; Step-Children: Teresa (Scott) Christensen, Mitchell (Margie) Hunt, David (Pauline) Elton, Mark (Michelle) Elton, Richard (Brandi) Elton, John (Amanda) Elton, Ellen (Brent) Whitney, Dan (Jennifer) Elton, Jennifer (Bryan) Allen, Andrew (Sarah) Elton. He is also survived by 47 Grandchildren, 50 Great-Grandchildren, 5 Great Great-Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by Parents, Brothers: Roy, Lester, Lyle, Otto. Sisters: Anna Colvin, Vera Head, and Eva Brown. Daughter, DiAnn Lynn Cunningham.
Work experience: Retired in 1976 from Defense Supply Agency, US Gov't. Defense Depot Ogden, Utah. Also served in Richmond General Depot, Richmond VA
Military service: U.S Navy; 2nd World War and Korean Conflict
Sports: Loved playing baseball, softball, and basketball. Breaking, riding and training horses. Hunting and fishing with daughters and wife Fay. Camping, snowmobiling. And last but not least golfing in later years after retiring.
Church Service: Five Full- time missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Four with wife Carol and one with wife Barbara. Ordinance Worker in Ogden, UT Temple. Veil Worker in Mt. Timpanogos Temple.
